Following assessment of the measurand records should be kept so that it can be referred to at a later date. It is simplest to lay out the categories outlined in the measurand modelling page in a simple spread sheet so that all the categories (and information for them) are in one place.
On the occasion of a new measurand being introduced to service the record is updated and assessment made by the appropriate member of staff. Modifications of assessments are also logged.
