Lab questions · Help shape the next resource
What are you trying to solve
in your laboratory?
Describe a practical difficulty, explore relevant help, and tell me what is still missing.
Open to everyone. You do not need a membership or an account.
Start with the situation
A specific question can shape a useful answer.
You do not need the right technical vocabulary. Explain what you are trying to do, where you are getting stuck and what useful help would let you do.
For example
“Our IQC has shifted after a reagent lot change. What evidence would help us investigate it?”
“We have calculated measurement uncertainty, but struggle to explain what the estimate means.”
“We need to compare two methods. How should we define an acceptable difference?”
What happens next?
- Your question is saved privately for review.
- Where available, you will see topic-based suggestions of existing help.
- You can tell me what answered the question and what remains unclear.
- Questions can lead to a clarification, better signposting, an improved resource or new teaching.
I may recommend useful material elsewhere. Submitting a question does not guarantee a new course or an individual response.
These examples illustrate the kind of question to submit; they are not user testimonials.
Your laboratory question
Three questions are required. Context and contact details are optional. Please use a short summary rather than a detailed case history.
Do not include patient identifiers, confidential laboratory information, unpublished data or urgent clinical requests. This is not a clinical advice or emergency service.
Questions and feedback are stored privately through the site’s WordPress/Jetpack form system and screened using Akismet. They may also be emailed to the site owner. Giving an email address does not subscribe you to marketing. Read the Lab questions privacy information.
